Description

the fact Daniel Warren Johnson was taking sketch requests at sdcc was insane. the fact i was able to get one was even crazier!!
i'd gotten a sketch from him when murder falcon was coming out (and its a great one!) but i knew he was going to blow up and i'm glad i jumped on this.
i know he's a music guy so i gave him the option of Modok or Mike Patton from Faith No More. i see where his heart lies b/c this was what i picked up!
poor cap!!
i'd never seen zip tone on a con sketch before!
anyways, i knew he was going to blow up and i was correct!
during covid i was able to buy a Flash cover he did and then at SDCC 22 i saw him in Jeff Smith's line so i used the fact i was working behind Terry Moore's table to make sure Jeff was aware of what a big deal DWJ was. i'm not sure how good a job i did but if we ever see a jeff smith cover to any of DWJ's books i'd like to think i helped. fingers crossed!
and if you've met DWJ, you know he's trying to take the title of nicest guy in comics.
seriously great person as well as incredibly talented!

Modok must use Maxell high fidelity audio to get this effect on Cap! He must also follow proper oral hygiene for that winning smile!
