Description

The heroes' ruse has worked. The bad guys wasted hours investigating a decoy crash, and now the fall of night means the chase must be suspended until dawn. As the sun rises...

“I stand by what I said last night, boss. The corpses are Paco and Zombi. They were disfigured with two shots to the face.”

“Damn! So Uriaga fled on foot, and the pilot is probably with him. We'll find them though. I will send Carlos forward. He's very good at following tracks.”

“I'll get going right away, boss.”

“OK. But it would be better to also send someone to monitor the territory from above, while we follow the path.”

“Good. Alert the helicopters.”

“Lope here. Can you hear me?”

“Loud and clear, boss.”

“Be ready for takeoff within half an hour. When the men arrive, you will have to search the mountains, as we did yesterday.”

“There's a problem, boss. I only have fuel for half a day of flying. Enough to get to the nearest slope, towards the valley. And Cordero's helicopter is more or less in the same situation.”

“Dammit! We didn't need this!”

“Don't worry, Lope. I have an idea to fix everything.”
