Description

"War of the Ghost Generals!" by Robert Kanigher.

"End of a Battle Star! - Part 1"

The Haunted Tank destroys two German tanks in support of G.I.'s attacking well-entrenched Germans in the Normandy hedgerows after D-Day. The ghost of General Sherman appears to relieve the Haunted Tank's guardian, Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart.

Slam bang tank action! These DPS' are showcases of Ayers and Glanzman's talents in pure artistry for military hardware that would shape how the human drama would play out! This one has the ghostly Haunted Tank to combine war legend and the supernatural!

Weird War and GI Combat sometimes overlapped in subject matter. Just such an instance. Great DPS.
