I've owned this Page 1 Title Splash/Page with artwork by Mike Huddleston & Troy Nixey from Harley Quinn #36 (Volume 1, released in 2003) for nearly 7 years now, but never really had a way to properly share it because I never had an actual scan of it.

It was matted/framed and on my walls for years in NYC, before I ever got a proper scanner. Then it was boxed up and in storage after I moved.

Recently, I dug it out of storage and went through the process of de-matting and de-framing the piece myself (luckily it all went smoothly), so I could finally have new high resolution imaging for this Title Page to "Behind Blue Eyes, Part 4". No regrets! It's nice to appreciate an old piece in a new way, reinvigorating my admiration for this example.

Haha no problem, I'll admit I was pretty nervous and sweating bullets while doing it but I got through it unscathed. It gave me enough confidence to try and do it on another framed piece I never had a scan for immediately after...and that one was way harder and sketchy to get through, took like 2 hours and required a lot of melted tape glue like residue removal (ugh). Doing it myself is oddly satisfying, though!

Thanks man!!! Been meaning to get it out of the frame for awhile and get a real scan but...life and all lol. Felix's Huddleston drop today was a good reminder that I did this and still needed to post it :)

Fuck! I was about to tell you what a huge, missed opportunity this was for you to add Behind Blue Eyes as the added video and song for this piece, only to get to the last comment and see that Marcus bailed you out with it! Great looking, high contrast splash!

Gotta love that perspective flip from the headshots (those expression, too!) to the otherside of the full figures in the splash - super effective stuff! Congrats, man!
