Heroes served as a perfect reminder to why I love the place again this year, and this was just one of a few pieces that made the trip back home. I hadn't spoken to James since 2022, so he was definitely on my list to stop by for this year. If you see him at a convention stop and say hello. He is one of the kindest guys in our hobby.

James brought two massive portfolios to Heroes this year and it was great to see such a large body of his work. He has done a number of skate decks and design work over the past years and it was really cool to see so many of the originals for those. James has also done comic and commission work as well, so the portfolio is a wonderful and versatile view.

Both of these designs were made for Chum Media, a skate film company, and were used for skate decks, along with shirts and coffee mugs. Thought the idea for each design was just outstanding. The hand lettering is really impressive, right down to some of the finest cursive entrail work that I have ever seen! It was also such a nice touch to incorporate the elements of the camera and microphone into the anglerfish. Makes for a very fun original!

Great mix of design and detailed illustration! The entrails...wow, lol. And I loe how the school of fish spell out "CHUM before being devoured by the angler fish! Fun stuff, TT, congrats!
