DescriptionLocke Lamora - Paul Lee - Mystery Sketch May 2024.“I was badly misinformed, I deeply regret the error, go fuck yourself with this bag of money!” - Locke Lamora The Gentlemen Bastards series is by far my favorite fantasy novel series. I've read the trilogy full through 5 or 6 times. It's a very witty but sweet series about gentlemen thieves. Locke himself is the ultimate false facer/actor/con man so it's very interesting to see what Paul saw him as since he is always in disguise. I'm not certain the book even contains enough of a reliable description to draw from. It's got everything you'd want from a novel, action, intrigue, romance, a bit of magic, and superb profanity. I've met the author Scott Lynch a couple of times and he's signed some of his books for me. He's great but we've been waiting ten years for the fourth book. Social/Sharing |
