Byrne doin' what he do! Love how Big, and Ego, are just kind of observing while everyone else is streaking across the page! Well, maybe not Frankenstein - he's moving, but not quite streaking :) Congrats, man!

This cover stood out to me from this series for just the awesome images of Galactus, Ego and Doctor Strange to name a few.

Marvel Universe was a huge childhood favorite, and as an adult I really appreciate the skill that went into creating all the images. Great pick up - especially for Elektra, Frankenstein and Galactus!

Loved this series and these covers--and you got a great assortment of characters on this one! Fury, Galactus, Doc Strange, Elektra--lots of A list and of course fun B and C list characters too.

Back then, they put the biggest stars of the alphabet group out on the front cover. Who would have known Galactus, Falcon, Elektra, and Ego would be more famous than Frankenstein, Dragon Man, Frog Man?

I've always loved these Official Handbook covers! This one, by John Byrne, is one of the absolute best! I mean, look at it--You've got Doctor Strange, Dormammu, Doc Ock, Dragon Man, Electro, Elektra, Falcon,Nick Fury, and Galactus! All lovingly drawn by one of the top comic book artists ever! What's not to love?
