great Title DPS!!! The Death Skull image really does suit the nightmare sequence. congrats!
This might be the best piece I've ever seen by Fry, which raises the question of what happened to him. From researching online, it looks like he went the Archie route but I wonder why he didn't last longer at the big two. He evidently had the talent. This DPS is detailed without being overly wrought or unclear and the overall design of the page is terrific.
Fry did some Shadowhawk and some Sonic work before disappearing and I too wonder where is/what he does nowadays. I tend to love (obsess over?) those 80s/90s artists I experienced first hand who, based on talent alone, should have been bigger (if not plain superstars) but whose work/total output remains more confidential due to the usual factors (lack of luck, interest, out of touch/favour/contact with editorial, appeal of other media…).
The overextended hand evokes Wrightson to you? It does, but what about the mouth? Even moreso! I must say that I looked for half a minute just to try to figure out what I was looking at, as I could only see randome body parts going in different directions at first due to lack of clarity (One of those rare instances where the color probably helps), but once I was able to focus and see the figure more clearly, it made for a much more spectacular piece. Of course, having a giant skull is the best part of this entire dps, but you knew that already! 😜
Agreed it is not the most immediate clear read but I think it may have been done on purpose to enhance the chaotic & nightmarish feel of the scene.

Great layout to this, and nightmarish quality to it, in a great way. Textures, too. I had to step back to take it all in. Great DPS, F M, and way to open up the story. Congrats!

A heavy touch of sophisticated horror with Fry and Ivy doing artwork on a level more akin to prestige graphic novels! The skull image and the tortured and twisted Moon Knight is a hellish surrealism that screams out at you from way back in the early 90's!

Wow--Jawdroppingly cool title splash by James Fry and Chris Ivy! What a wild and crazy splash with Moon Knight seemingly split in half right at the waist, with sand blowing out from his body like it was blood! The agony on Moon Knight's face is palpable! And his cape is flowing and twisting and billowing as if reacting to his pain. Of course everything is dominated by that sinister Death's Head, which is seemingly delighting in Moon Knight's pain! It's a wild and crazy splash page that makes me want to read the rest of the story! Amazing pick-up, congrats!

Wow - now THAT is intense! I love the combination of the hatching and zipatone to give a sense of depth, texture, and space to the fog - really neat effect! The writhing agony our hero is obviously in is -super- creepy, and Death's leering face exploding from out of the folds of MK's cloak... well, it doesn't do anything to calm my nerves... :) Like Rubén said, it took me a minute to find my footing in the piece, but once I did - pow! I did find myself chuckling at the use of the gutter / natural page dimensions to bisect poor Moonie - the cruelest cut of all! Really cool piece, FM! Congrats!
