DescriptionJust love hanging out with the Sinister Six in their underground lair as they muse about the latest developments in their villainous lives.I find it funny that the phone rings and Electro says "Tell me the number to our secret lair is unlisted." Ock says "I certainly thought so." And looky here ... it's the Green Goblin on the line ... reaching out to touch someone. Yeah that's right, I'm referencing an '80s AT&T tagline, what of it? It was catchy! And kind of sketchy sounding. Which is probably why they eventually got rid of it. Anyway, hope you enjoy this splashy Sinister Six page! Social/Sharing |

Even bad guys need some RnR. You know they are evil as they still use a corded phone!

Evil indeed. Though also unintentionally thoughtful, as it allows Ed to creatively divide the panel into two

haha that's the best, they're just casually chillin' shootin the breeze. Really cool toned down Sinister Six banter page. Nice Paul!
I really like Ed's Doc Ock - they all look great though! I sort of remember that tag line but I was probably an infant hearing it on the TV at the time or something.
Really looking forward to experiencing Ed on ASM, I'm only on issue 8 or 9 right now on my read through, but it was cool to see him be the guest star artist on LGY #900 earlier in the run

Their lair has the look of a sewer, actually. At least that's the impression I got. Maybe the Vulture squatting like he's taking a shit influenced me, who knows? But I love Sandman and Electro just kicking back with a couple of brewskies! What's not to love about that? Can you hear me now? Can you hear me NOW?!

I think they're in an abandoned subway tunnel...which I guess is a step up from a sewer maybe? And another excellent reference to a classic phone company tagline.

Very nice clubhouse feel! I wonder who pays for the landline service? Those things are magnets for calls about car warranty expiration and the IRS.

They have a landline! Of course Flint is having a beer, love it.

I mean, fair question from Max there! It is cool seeing the S6 just chillin', especially Mysterio :) It'll be short lived I'm afraid as their old foe's a'comin'...and he's packin' a little extra heat :) Another worthy McGuinness ASM add, Paul, congrats!

"Behind the curtain" scenes like this are so fun. Kinda like the bar with no name was, way back.
