Description

Here's a classic page & 1/4 of "Supermum" Whoopee comic art purchased direct from the artist himself Dicky Howett. It's dated January 28th 1978 and both pages combined measure about 450mm x 340mm (or around 17ins x 13ins) using black ink and paper speech bubbles.

Hi Marcus. Long time no speak friend. Yeah, big fan of the Whoopee comic and Supermum. Although this page is from 1978 the character itself is very reminiscent of another that appeared in the mid 80s TV series called, Supergran. That's why I like it. And you know what, even though I've got three and bit pages of Supermum art, only today was it revealled to me that the very person I sourced the art from unbeknownst to me was the artist himself. Dicky Howlett. 😎
