DescriptionI like Mike Perkins artwork and when I found out through collector Robert Bown, via my 'son' Declan Costello, that one was possible , asked for a Cap and Black Widow one. Gave no instructions other than asking for a full figure one. Left pose, composition and everything else to the artist and hey presto, happy result! Artists like some freedom.Social/Sharing |

Wow, wow, wow! This turned out great. Yet another lucky dog (or in your case, cat) whose commissions always turn out better than mine. Love the composition, love the poses, love the background, I love everything about this piece! Except for the fact that it's not in my collection. Ha! Congratulations my friend.

Very cool with Perkins' style perfectly suited to the espionage era of Cap books that had Winter Soldier and Black Widow picking up for Steve's absence. Shouldn't be a surprise since he was introduced to and worked with artists at Crossgen like Epting and Guice, who went on to all have a hand in Cap artwork during the Brubaker stories.

I think leaving the poses and composition to the artist usually results in better work. I can certainly attest to that in this case. This could easily be used as the cover of a trade paperback collection!
