Stealth Sketch Card by Derec Donovan

Here's another great sketch card from Derec! This one features Stealth in the outfit she wore during R.E.B.E.L.S., which Derec eventually became the main penciller on. I didn't actually commission this card, either - after doing a Vril Dox card for me, it seems that Derec had R.E.B.E.L.S. on the brain for the first time in a long time, and wound up doing this Stealth card just for the fun of it. He wound up putting it up for sale in his WhatNot shop, where I happily snapped it up! I chatted with him about the card a little bit, and in his own words, he thinks this might be the first time he's drawn Stealth in the thirty-odd years since the R.E.B.E.L.S. series ended, and that it was a lot of fun to revisit the character!

And what a revisitation it is!! I love everything about this card. The vicious snarl he gave her is just perfect, and I love how well he did the shading of her hair (along with the shading for everything else, of course!). The aqua colour he chose for the background complements Stealth's colour palette perfectly, too. You can definitely tell Derec had a lot of fun with this card, because every last little detail seems thought-out and deliberate.
