DescriptionIn a true “villain leaving the hero for dead” moment, Destro reactivates his B.A.T. to finish off Duke.Love Tom’s storytelling here and the little detail of his glove strap coming undone as his hand smashes into the android’s chest. Just a wonderful way to show us that the punch has no effect on the B.A.T. There is no give in that metal chest so the only give is in that glove strap. A small detail that tells us so much! It raises Duke's suspicions if Destro and M.A.R.S. is behind Starscream! These B.A.T.S. will also connect to the Destro series and maybe even more titles within the Energon Universe!

Even though Duke is told by Destro it wasn't him behind the attack, Duke still equates defeating this B.A.T. as avenging his friend. The job isn't over Duke, there are plenty more B.A.T.'s and oh...other giant sentient robots trying to destroy the planet.
