Description

One of the neo-Nazi punks threatens to set Martin afire, until the police intervene. Can he save Renate from burning at the stake, when he himself is covered in gasoline?

“I said, drop the lighter!”

“Ah!” (Punk gets shot, dropping his lighter amidst the gasoline leading to Renata's pyre.)

“No! Renate! I have to hurry! Let's hope the snow protects me enough. Now I have to hurry.”

“Fortunately… those trash aren't very good... at tying knots.”

(The punks escape on motorcycles.)

“Mystère! Are you okay?”

“Captain Steiner! I am, and I hope you are too.”

“I’ll call for help.”

I feel like Martin could have left the "walking into fire" part to someone who wasn't wearing gasoline, but that's just me. Raises the stakes for an action scene, though.

The lighting from the fire on the close up panel shows the realization of terror! Great adventure strip sequence testing the hero!
