Description

Another warmup card from Jeff's WhatNot stream! He was in the mood to draw another character from the Legion cartoon, and he went with Triplicate Girl, this time.

I think this truly might be my new favourite card from Jeff, second only maybe to that first Andromeda card I got from him. I love how faithfully he copied all of Triplicate Girl's design elements, I love the detailed shading he did on her uniform and hair, I love the cheeky expression he gave her, and I especially, especially love the starscape background he did!! I had suggested it as a way to continue over the space theme from that first animated Saturn Girl card, and he just knocked it right out of the park.

Since Triplicate Girl's design in the show is less stylized and "cartoon-y" than, say, Saturn Girl or Phantom Girl, Jeff could stay truer to his own style instead of working to incorporate any stylistically oversized facial features. That said, I really enjoy that he didn't just draw her to look like Triad wearing a wig, and actually gave her the same face shape and almond eye structure that she has in the show!
