DescriptionJughead #142 Pg. 2Art by Bill Vigoda The story "That's Gratitude" from Jughead #142 continues! After the story began on the Page 1 Title Page, Archie and Jughead part ways with Betty & Veronica from the diner to head to the hospital and pay Mr. Weatherbee a visit with his freshly broken leg. They decide to bring some flowers, which Jughead of course mistakenly puts in his pitcher of drinking water! He isn't pleased, haha. Social/Sharing |

And the flowers in the halls and all names that Jug’s been called
I drink it in my mind the inks waiting for the line
When I show you just delights, not see leg split you won’t like

Only a tiny cameo of the girls' fab outfits, but at least we get a typical gag with the "flowers in the drinking water". The usual Archie Comics hijinx, what's not to love?

Poor Juggie ... He tries to put on a cheerful face ... his heart is in the right place .. That's not a pleased look on Weatherbee's face ... to be fair, that does look like a vase.
