Martin Mystère #410 (2024) p 8-9: Hey, I know these guys.

Our heroes discover that the monsters attacking them were actually men in furry suits. It's the same group of neo-Nazi punks that were causing problems last issue. Time to lock them in the shed before they wake up:

“You're hurt.”

“A mere trifle, Mystere. Renate, do you have the key to the reception booth?”

“Yes, I...”

“Open it, then. And lock these... these monsters inside.”

“It’s done!”

“Captain…”

“I'm...I'm better than I look, Professor. Trust me.”

“But you need medical attention...”

“And I'll get it. I called my men. They're on their way with help.”

“Hm, these 'monsters' don't convince me. They look like the Gankerl, the creatures of legend, that's true... but they're only human beings!”

One needs to suspend disbelief for this scene. Unless the snow were a blinding blizzard, it would have been immediately obvious that the monster faces were masks, not living -- especially after Martin punches one of them in the face. The monster suits would have been cumbersome and vision-impairing (if warm) for real-life assailants. However, they add visual interest to the scene, which inspired the cover of issue #409.
