Superman: The Dark Side is a three-issue Elseworlds, limited series that answers the question: "What if Kal-El landed on Apokolips instead of on Earth?"

This page shows his ship being redirected by an "unknown force."

Funny note: In the second panel, in the empty space where Earth is supposed to be, there is erased handwriting that reads: "Joey: I'd like the colorist to do the earth in photoshop or something..."
