Description

This is my favorite page from the book.

Heartbroken after discovering the girl he was seeing arranged for the Absorbing Man to (unsuccessfully) break off a piece off his skin, Ben uses all his might to pry off a piece himself.

But not just any piece� the piece right on top of his heart.

Maybe I�m a sucker for this kind of stuff, but I can�t think of a more fitting ending than him giving her his broken heart. And Kano�s brilliant body language and facial expressions make it all the more impactful.

�The last coupla weeks were really great, Jennifer. I� I actually thought you were my friend.�

Poor Ben.
