Description

For me, this was a near perfect Sinestro Cover. This piece nailed Sinestro's stoic demeanor and was very reminiscent of Mark Stong's Movie Representation of Sinestro from the 2011 Green Lantern Movie, that was truly perfect casting.

DC also made the right choice by not coloring the art. It is perfect in the black, white, grey tones. As the Lanterns are synonymous with "color", this was more the reason to leave color out.

Painted by Italian Comic Artist, Marco Santucci, THIS was the piece that made me a Marco Santucci fan. Got the chance to meet Marco at NYCC 2022 and could not have been a nicer guy. Loved this piece so much, that I commissioned Marco to create a "mirrored" image of Hal Jordan to go with this cover.

Movie star handsome! Makes you think of Clark Gable with that thin moustache and strong eyebrows. Hollywood glamorous with soft and glowing Santucci tones.
