Modern Comic Art Collector, (2000's thru Modern Day currently published books). Was a comic collector/reader in the early 90's and grew up on everything Marvel/DC/GIJoe/Transformers/StarWars being an 80's kid. From Spider-Man and his Amazingh Friends and the Super Powers Cartoons, to GI Joe & Transformers Cartoons after school. All of these pop culture properties from comics, to cartoons, to movies, to toys, and not to art, have been a big part of my life. In purchasing a home and having a place to store and display your collectibles, that's when I can say my real collecting began. From Statues (Prime1/XM Studios), to High-End Action Figutes (Hot Toys), to Graded AFA 3.75 1980's GI Joes, my "collection" began with these collectibles. I adorned the walls of my Man Cave with limited Alex Ross Lithographs, which is really how I got into "art". But to be honest, it's all "comic art" whether it's a scuplture/statue/actionfigure or a piece of hand-drawn art, it is all pop-culture art. I feel we have been in a Renessaince when it comes to Pop Culture Art since 2008 and continues through today.
