Description

FIRST:

There may be a time in our future when there isn't an actual human that acts as an umpire (curse you MLB commissioner Rob Manfred). But this wonderful scene illustrates how each person involved in an event, can have a totally different point of view. I'll always be a fan of the "grand ole' game" as well as Leo O'Mealia's art.

SECOND:

When comics and sports come together! This picture was created by Leo "the Lion" O'Mealia. Leo was a sports cartoonist for the Rochester Herald, the Rochester Times, The Globe and the New York Daily News. He would always include a cute lion somewhere in his baseball art. Leo O'Mealia was also known for his work on early issues of Action Comics, Adventure Comics and Detective Comics in the late 1930's.
