Description

As the battle between Spidey and the Green Goblin finally winds down, the two exhausted foes are once again at peace, as (once again) Norman has been purged of his sins and evil.

But ... yeah ... for how long, right? I mean, come on, this is the Green Goblin we're talkin' about!

Anyway, early in the issue, Doc Connors asked Rep-Rap (who was still impaled by Goblin's glider at the time) if he was okay. Rek-Rap said "Oh yeah. Just stabbed through the heart. Luckily I have more." Connors said "Are you sure?" Rek-Rap replied "Absolutely not."

BUT it seemed like he was basically okay. Too silly to die.

On this page, all of that is confirmed, as Rek-Rap (with a big grin) asks Norman if he can keep the glider. Norman figures, why not, as he has no more use for it. Then he also asks Rek-Rap if he's okay. Rek-Rap says "No clue."

Hahaha!

So ... there you have it. A very nice Rek-Rap epilogue. Hopefully we'll see more of him in the future.

If Ed has his way, we definitely will.

A fun Rek-Rap epilogue for sure! I don't get the story though. Spidey says the Green Goblin is dead, Ms Marvel asks Spidey who the guy looking like the Green Goblin is, the Goblin tells her he's Norman. Norman IS the Green Goblin, so wtf is up with that?

Well, saying the Green Goblin is dead is more symbolic.  Spidey means all the evil and sins have once again been purged from Norman's system.  The Sin-Eater did it the first time, but it didn't take.  All the sins got transferred to some kind of staff, and then there was a Winkler device that Norman also used to brainwash Spidey with his sinful thoughts.... and ... the staff ... Kraven had it ... we got Spider-Goblin ... he fought ... Avengers but not Avengers ... got transformed back ... but not quite ... big battle ... oh crap I don't know, it was a cool-ass story!  But things are back to normal now, and maybe Norman will become the Gold Goblin again, which he did after the Sin-Eater took away his sins the first time, cuz ... you know ... Gold is ... and the staff ... gone... Henry Winker device ... the Fonz ... oh crap I don't know, I LOVE REK-RAP !!!!

Oh, you KNOW Norman's on borrowed time!  :)  It is funny to such a chill scene after all the events prior.  Ed can do it all!  Congrats, Paul!

You know, the reason I could never be a super hero is that I would have killed Norman years ago. Hero wimps. They talk about saving people but what about the innocents the villains kill or maim? I mean, we all know he's going to go crazy again and kill, just like the Joker. Lol. They should be punished...Lets be Frank about it. What do you mean you want me to take a Rorsharch test? Look at the pretty butterflies.
