Even as a kid I was always drawn to the detail on this cover.
Very cool! Congrats!
Sandman could drink anyone under the table. He just keeps soaking it in! I've never seen this cover, but it's a gem!
That's an Amazing 2-in-1 cover - great addition, congrats!
How fun is this cover! Wow! Nice find!
Nice fun cover! Congrats!
The bar itself has a rich characterization! Lots of atmosphere in this old local bar for Ben to put his guard down and wash away his daily problems. One of Wilson's most intimate covers.
The sigs on the bottle label is the icing on the cake. Amazing!!
Can't believe I didn't notice that. Awesome!
Cheers Dan! I'm almost expecting Norm to walk in and join them 🍺
Great cover. If you ever need to sell, please let me know
I was always a big fan of Sandman's 'face' turn. I grew up reading Amazing Spider-Man where he teamed-up with Silver Sable and eventually became an Avenger.
I would later find this issue as a back-issue that would fill in the blanks for me on when this life-changing moment took place.
Big Congratulations! What a perfect snapshot of a moment in Marvel history!
What a great Marvel Two-In-One cover! You do wonder sometimes what Super-heroes do when they're not battling one another. I love the idea that they all just go to the bar to key down. And if a super-villain was in the same bar, just quietly having a beer himself, why wouldn't they get together? They know a lot of the same people, so they have lots to talk about. And their adventures are pretty wild, so maybe it'd be nice to talk to someone else who knows what's lijke to have a building dropped on your head. Or what if feels like to be sent into the Negative Zone. These aren't subjects you can easily discuss with the average guy you meet in a bar. So it just makes sense they'd get together and call a truce for the evening. Fantastic cover that really brings that thought to life. Great pick-up, congrats!
Fun times! Big congrats!!
....I think I might have to find a copy of this one on eBay to read
And a rare cover appearance of the Impossible Man to top it off!
Awesome cover.
Making your way in the world today
Takes Wilson's Thing in art
Inking away from all your worries

Wouldn't you like to get away?
All those lines when you've got bud light
The Chic will never fail
Sand for Marvel Marko

And your third big entree's Impossible
Sometimes it's Flint Marko
Where everybody knows your name
Ben they're always Grimm you came
You want a bar where you can see (ah-ah)
This cover is not the same (ah-ah)
You wanna be where everybody knows you framed
Great cover. I always loved this issue. Huge congrats!
One of the coolest Thing covers, "Bar" none. Congrats Dan!
That's very very nice!
Definitely makes you wanna pick up the book to see more of this hang and convo inside! Congrats, Dan!
I'm not sure if the publishers would allow this cover to be made today. DC recalled a Superman issue because it said "beer" on the cover!
This is a fantastic cover with lots of detail. Congratulations on an amazing piece.
Now this one...this one is FUN!
Cheers to you Dan, on this great cover!
Wotta great cover! Aunt Petunia'd be proud. Now I gotta find this ish and read it.
Fantastic Cover...Chic works so well with Ron....I'll drink to that.
Never read this - but that is a really cool cover!!
Tell me if you've heard this one...A rock man, a sand man and an Impossible man walk into a bar... I love this cover, congrats!!
It may not be a battle cover, but the execution and the art is amazing. Congrats Dan!!!!
And to think it was in a HA Wednesday. What a steal!
That's a very nice/beautiful cover.
Supports the argument that Wilson is an underrated artist. His covers in particular are high impact. This cover is full of amazing detail and yet the key scene comes out perfectly. Great inks too!
