Pretty neat bondage to go with the leather vest and spikes! These X-Men were a lot more subversive than just the story of super powered outcasts.

The Vrakann aliens were a nod to Larry Niven's leonine Kzin species in his "Known Space" sci fi books. Maybe Bob McLeod can recall what direction he got from Claremont concerning their design.

Bob, you ol' horn dog! Don't tell us the very suggestive figure positioning in the last panel was just coincidence. Certainly looks like Sam and Lila were getting it on until the crashing noise interupted their coitus!
