Fred Treadwell from the comic strip “The Treadwells”.

Robert (Bob) Bugg was an impressive illustrator and cartoonist.
Early on in his artistic career, he contributed to comic books in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He was an incredibly versatile artist not relying on a single style, he could create beautiful illustrations for magazines as Colliers, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Day, and also highly stylized cartoon strips as Dennis the Menace (he was the assistant for Hank Ketcham and drew the Dennis the Menace Sunday for 10 years).
