Description

Beautiful mid-90s all-pencil drawing from Mongul creator Jim Starlin, which he signed for me in Baltimore last month.

I had made it a rule not to collect art of just villains, but I have a soft spot for Mongul.

Beautiful, tight pencils. I prefer the classic costume, but as far as redesigns go, this one is pretty decent!

He's no mere villain, he's one of the cosmic threats by Starlin having a hand in many of DC's greatest events. This big armored version would probably be enough to go into Infinite Crisis and start messing with the big 3.
