Wow! Gorgeous pencils by Philip Tan! I love the way Philip drew Jason Wyngarde here. I've always throught that when Mastermind first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #122 as Jason Wyngarde, and swept Jean Grey off her feet, it was a really compelling storyline. The way he preyed on Jean's feelings and turned her into the Black Queen was utterly frightening! Philip really captures that handsome, devil-may-care attitude of Jason Wyngarde here. I love that Philip included the closeup image of Mastermind above him. These are stunning pencils--You really should get this inked, it's superb!
