Description
This is a piece I acquired back a year ago in November 2024 via Dexter's Big Cartel shop. With doing the big May marathon of Star Wars posts the last few years I tend to buffer Star Wars art in my queue, sometimes for a long while, before adding to my galleries. But, I'm thinking of scaling 2026 back. Will I? Who knows? Regardless, it is past time this one gets flipped on in ye ole modern Marvel gallery.

Now for the geek level story recap. Aboard the Ghost, Jacen asks his mother why he has to listen while she can disobey orders. Syndulla responds that generals can sometimes disobey orders and tells him to buckle up. Chopper watches. The Ghost is accompanied by five T-65B X-wing starfighters flown by Captain Carson Teva and Lieutenants Baysee, Mowaat, Jensu, and Lander. Teva tells her about the risks but Syndulla says that she has always been a rebel. Teva addresses her as Phoenix Leader and the squadron jump into hyperspace at Syndulla's command. Jacen pulls the hyperdrive lever.

It's a lovely page indeed, with wonderfully balanced blacks offering a really nice contrast overall.

I waffle over pages every day, and like you, feel a little better if they sell to see them pop up in a fellow collector's gallery where I can still enjoy visiting them. If only we had unlimited budgets!

Love this page and kinda wish I didn't sleep on as many pages from this streaming series adaptation! Great panels between mother and son, and a Carson Teva appearance!!?? Whether you post all your Star Wars in May or scattered throughout the year, Carson Teva alone makes this page worthy of the Wedding Wars museum! Really looking forward to the return of the series. congrats!

Add in a peek-a-boo Chopper in the first panel and the Ghost in the second, this page has "all that and a bag of chips" as we used to say in the 90s. Wow, I'm feeling my Yo! MTV Raps today.

Love the blacks on this page. It really provides a sense of depth. It also helps that it's a Star Wars page!

In the first page
Dexter ink lines
Made you a print with a thousand galleries
May’s a trail of
A thousand tears
Gave you a Syndulla inside your own artwork piece.

Hera’s Ghost for me
Who wants a page Vines Jeanty
Jacen’s in the story
