DescriptionThis is the pencil and ink artwork by Dan McDaid for an 'Iron Empire' story that was originally destined to appear in the Doctor Who magazine Vworp Vworp #3 in 2017. A version of the story eventually did appear in Vworp Vworp #5 (2023) with Tom Baker replaced by Peter Capaldi. The published version was drawn by Steve Andrew who acknowledges his debt to Dan McDaid, noting that his "excellent layouts I shamelessly ripped off for the first couple of pages".The main picture shows the original art for the title page by Dan McDaid, side by side with the published version by Steve Andrew.
