Jeffrey Brown Self Portrait Sketch Card

I was a big fan of a lot of the autobiographical comics of the late 90s and early aughts. I think one of the very best to do it was Jeffrey Brown. I loved Clumy, AEIO, Every Girl is the End of the World and Funny Misshapen Body. I appreciate his cartooning and designs of his Star Wars stuff, but his autobiographical stuff is what I love best.

It was a really great moment to have the chance to meet him at NYCC and share my appreciation for his early work. He said that he was hoping to get back to autobiographical work in the nearer term and slow down a bit on Star Wars. Which was great news to me. I asked him if he had any self portraits of his comic persona available for sale. He had this one here and a zombie version of himself. I had to go with this one since it's more in line of his portrayal of himself in his work of course.
