Description

Every Spidey fan knows Al Milgrom's beloved 10 issue run on "Spectacular Spider-Man" in the 80s. Chances are pretty high they probably like it, too. I'm no different.

Those stories with Black Cat and her relationship with Spider - not Peter! - (and villains like the Owl, Ock, Kingpin, ...). They resonated with a young 10 year old me in the early 00s. I only learned many years later, that there was a person behind those stories: Al Milgrom.

Seeing my collection, you'd know how much I like Spidey's supporting cast, especially his love interests. When I saw a commission opportunity with Al, I knew I wanted a Black Cat and suggested to do something sensual with the posing. It's not an easy pose to pull off, but Al did a great job.

This was done in pencil and inks on an 9x12 art board.
