Morpheus by Philippe Bringel

So the latest package that I received from Philippe Bringel contained a wonderful surprise.

I had not discussed Morpheus with him before and I hadn't seen any illustration of this character in his gallery, so you can imagine my surprise to receive this, especially with all the amazing details. The very interesting set of symbols on his chest could be deciphered in various ways, in fact as it turns out I may have a slightly different interpretation of them than the artist himself.

I also really like the sash he's wearing around his waist with what seems like little tassels! Looks very Eastern to me somehow. Turkish? Persian? I'm not quite sure!
