This is a Trimpe and Montano story and we get to see some of the 90's Trimpe. If he'd work under a different name, audiences would have thought he was an up and coming star.

Hi Marcus--I put the credits in the room description, rather than on each page (for faster uploading, and partial laziness)--this is actually my fan-fiction for GOTG #28, with Steven Baskerville on art!

Thanks, realism is one of the goals!

The published GOTG #28 has an interesting history, with a large amount of people being used to create the finished product.

Valentino was leaving the book with that issue (hence no pencil duties)--he had a story he wanted to tell and characters he wanted to use, but the editor and another writer were blocking their use. Due to tensions at Marvel, his story being limited, and the strain of starting image--he turned in a lackluster script. The script was also likely heavily reworked after being sent in.

Trimpe was used for pencils--but Trimpe also pulled his son in to do layout duties.

Then, inker Montano was credited on the book--but at this time, Montano also had two ghost inkers assisting him.

So there were probably at least seven people involved between story and art! It was certainly a time of transition.
