Description
Here is a special oddity. Back when IDW had relaunched the TMNT comics back in 2011, they had brought back co-creator Kevin Eastman after he left the series and sold his half of the rights to Peter Laird decades before. With this new relaunched, Eastman helped reestablished and guide the new lore for the turtles and was fairly hands on for a time. One way to celebrate his return was this special Retail Incentive for stores to sell, with approximately only 500 being made and each having a unique, hand drawn sketch of one of the turtles by Eastman himself! Even for the time, these were incredibly rare and, from what I heard, some were released months after the first issue came out due to the massive amount of time and effort Eastman had to put into each cover.

This cover featuring Raphael, the most hot headed of the turtle! What makes this more special for me is that this was purchased directly from Eastman himself, coming from his own personal collection and still has the original COA before they updated it to look a bit more professional

Great score!  Full sketch covers like this are getting tougher to acquire!
