Very cool! You can see the difference an inker like Armando Gil has compared to the Al Williamson DD art. DD is going for grim and gritty, while this brings fantasy to life.  Agreed, Gil really did a great job with inking JRJR's pencils! I wish the story had been long than the few pages it was, as while Williamson did an amazing job inking his Daredevil, it would have been interesting to see how other inkers along with Gil would have done JRJR's pencils while he was developing the style he's so iconic for now |

I was told it was the first meeting when I bought it. Might be worth looking a little deeper into though. I went back to double check as I recall them having met before and it was back in ASM volume 3. I don't believe they knew each others identities until way after though |
