Description

Here is a sketch card featuring Gambit that was generously gifted by Hembeck collector and fellow art/theatre connoisseur Josh (and Sheri) Flanders. I've been fortunate enough to meet other collectors through CAF over the years, and I'm thankful to call Josh and Sheri my friends (and to think, we're essentially neighbors but might not have met if not for CAF). As per sketch card custom, this piece has since taken its rightful place of display upon the refrigerator door.

A little card goes a long way in this hobby! Very cool how Hembeck throttled down the garish pink color hues to make Gambit cool!

Had no idea about the Hembeck fridge custom. Is that just your thing, or does everyone do it? You've seen how I keep mine, so I don't think that would work for me. But I love the idea. Great seeing you again buddy! Have a safe trip home and already counting the days until your next visit.

Haha, it's mostly a joke, though I know at least one collector has done that to display their sketch cards. I can't see myself ever framing a sketch card, so it's an easy way to display a small piece of art.
