Description

This is my favourite of the three originals that Sandy offered me recently. Done on vellum and mounted on Bristol board. Another collector of Sandy's work was only interested in having penciled work and commissioned a drawing of Miss America. Sandy personally preferred it in ink so, for his own satisfaction, he made this inked version over pretty tight pencils.

Very lovely as Plunkett meticulously inks line by line with such a delicate fluid touch to capture the inspiring golden age pin up look.
