DescriptionAfter a bit of a hiatus, I'm back with more pages from the Spectacular Spider-Men #1-7 saga!Peter Parker and Miles Morales have been trapped inside a simulated reality controlled by Arcade and Mentallo known as Arcadium. After breaking free of their fantasy lives, they found themselves up against Hammerhead and robotic versions of some of the most dangerous street-level villains like Kingpin, Tombstone & Black Cat. A battle ensued, and two web-heads ended up coming out on top. That is, until another super-villain showed up: K.N.A.I.V.E. Look out Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Carnage! There's a new rogue in town! See, Miles Warren (the Jackal) found his way inside the Arcadium and got in contact with its core artificial intelligence. Jackal and the A.I. found some common ground and worked together to turn the A.I. into the giant robot monster K.N.A.I.V.E., who now stands ready to destroy the Spectacular Spider-Men! Issue #7 is gonna be cuh-raaaaaazy!! (Stay tuned) Social/Sharing |

I so badly WANT to say that this guy is going to be more popular than Wolverine, but part of me feels that I'm just being n.a.i.v.e.

You gave me a belly laugh with that one, Ruben! And spelling it "n.a.i.v.e." tickles me for another reason that will be revealed when I post the page from issue #7 where K.N.A.I.V.E. explains his name. Stay tuned!

Once again, Spideys have the worst of luck! Do you think Peter and Miles will be naive enough to think K.N.A.I.V.E. can be beaten with their standard high/low attack? Perhaps, they can trick the A.I. if they wore each other's costumes?

Gotta love the mix of tech and animal hair with this guy! What a fun and cool spin on the Jackal powering up. And Ramos is one of the best at giving Spidey expressions through the mask :) Congrats!

I really like Victor's inks over Humberto here. You get the full page 1st apperance of a new villain AND the inset panel of Peter and Miles so that's extra cool. What is K.N.A.I.V.E an acronym for? Or is that not revealed in the story? Nice pickup Paul!

K.N.A.I.V.E.'s full name is revealed in the next issue, and it's kind of funny, so I am saving it for when I post the actual page where it happens. Thanks for the comment!
