My mystery sketch just arrived and it is a fun one! If you are unfamiliar with the subject, Primal is an animated series without dialogue from creator Genndy Tartakovsky. I highly recommend the watch, especially with season 3 coming in the next year.

JP took such an original approach with this. We see some blood, but it's honestly a heartwarming look at Fang and Spear's relationship. If you happen to have a bad tooth where I am from, we usually just loop some fishing line around it and tie it to the back of the truck.

His color work is really nice on this piece and that is consistent with all of his art. Also really love what he did with the background. It has some detail and is in a different style which successfully brings the characters to the foreground. It creates a 2d effect that you would see on an animation cel. Overall it's a really cool piece and a sketch worthy of the mystery.

Big holiday thanks goes out to JP and the Next Comic Art crew, I love it!

man that color REALLY pops off the canvas, super fun - helluva mystery piece! Will have to check out the Primal animated show, wasn't aware of it that much before - thanks!

A nice blend of JP's two styles! It makes it look like an 8 bit video game and animation come to life! Creative Exploration at its finest!
