Description

When Keith Giffen took over Hex from Mark Texeira the fans just couldn't make the leap in terms of the different art style, and I don't blame them, since it was just too disparate. Letters to the editor, in this last book, were overwhelmingly in favor of Texeira.

I find Giffen's controversial Jose Munoz style quite intriguing and sometimes somewhat confusing, though I believe in time these pages will become more appreciated.

I think it's more appreciated when presented in individual pages than as a whole. Isolated, we can see the Giffen mind at work. While as a whole, the flow of the story is affected when you have to stop and interpret what he is drawing.
