Description(Hanna-Barbera) Hanna-Barbera debuted their very first made-for-tv series in 1957. It was The Ruff & Reddy Show, and it proved successful enough to warrant an additional show: The Huckleberry Hound Show, which debuted in 1958.The show was sponsored by Kellogg's, and featured an intro full of Kellogg's iconography. But when the show was repackaged for reruns for the 1st time (in 1962 I think), the intro was reanimated to remove Kellogg's and add in more Huckleberry. This key master 2-cel setup with it's hand-painted background is form those re-worked opening credits, so this appeared in front of every episode for most of the 60s. Social/Sharing |

It holds up so well and is brighter and sharper than any video of the cartoon that may still float out there.
