Probably the definitive Atlas/Seaboard Comics image (with Ironjaw a close second). With this cover Chaykin established the model for every leading man he's depicted since.

What a scoop! As Mark V says above, this is the prototypical character for Dom Fortune, Iron Wolf, even Reuben Flagg. That stat looks no different to me than the original: great work. Thanks for sharing; it is a "done in one" Chaykin if ever there was one.

A classic as first issues of Atlas /Seaboard used the top talents. This is Chaykin's greatness on display and the cream of the crop of Atlas covers. Scorpion, Cody Starbuck, Dominic Fortune kind of all had the same template first used here.
