Probably the definitive Atlas/Seaboard Comics image (with Ironjaw a close second). With this cover Chaykin established the model for every leading man he's depicted since.
Iconic Chaykin cover! This is a series that should never have been discontinued!
The covers for this line were fantastic...with this perhaps the most memorable. Congrats!
What a scoop! As Mark V says above, this is the prototypical character for Dom Fortune, Iron Wolf, even Reuben Flagg. That stat looks no different to me than the original: great work. Thanks for sharing; it is a "done in one" Chaykin if ever there was one.
All-time banger for sure. Thanks for posting!
Nice job. Updated and lookin' good for the New Year!
That Atlas logo brings me back to bring 10 years old going through quarter bins back in the day. Howard did a great job on this. Congrats!
That is awesome!
One of those classic covers that transcends publisher status. Congrats on picking up a historic Bronze Age piece!
One of the nicest Chayking covers in anyone'scollection. A veritable CLASSIC!
A classic as first issues of Atlas /Seaboard used the top talents. This is Chaykin's greatness on display and the cream of the crop of Atlas covers. Scorpion, Cody Starbuck, Dominic Fortune kind of all had the same template first used here.
That's the proto/typical Chaykin looking as himself right here
I cannot say for certain that it is the Chaykinest of Chaykin covers, but it's gotta be up there. And cheers on adding the logo.
Fantastic!
Fantastic cover! To me, Chaykin at his very best!
Great cover....How could you not buy this comic?
