"Fetish" Bettie Page Playboy August 2005 FINAL ** Olivia de Berardinis

My personal favorite Olivia Bettie Playboy painting from this period, ("Crime and Punishment" is my other favorite but I don't think Roland Lim is giving her up!?)

Olivia continued to create a painting a month for Hefner to publish and Hefner would write his captions as he did with Alberto Vargas before her.

This one says, "A good shoe is a girl's best friend..."

I can't argue. You can probably guess where this hangs...(but I took Bettie off the wall and put her in better light to share with you all). My photo doesn't do the art justice. The Stockings!! (Olivia, Huerta and Robert Blue seriously knew how to paint them! I wonder why I love them all so much!)

Published full page. Playboy August 2005 p. 107. Signed and dated Olivia 2004 lower left.
Also used for Olivia's OZONE production Bettie Page 2005 Calendar.

Mixed media on board. Has metallic paints in it. It has texture. She is so perfect. I stare...I will try and get a good close up.
She is big framed stands about 39" Olivia also designed the frame with her framer at the time. It is hand carved I believe.
In sight about 22 x 34

The secret to buying new shoes is to be comfortable; you are gonna end up trying on many. Plus the fishnets slide into Nikes nice and easy.
