Gorgona Anthology 3 page 2 and 3 DPS art by Carlos Dearmas (2024) - Te Amo / Love you

It's been such a treat to see Carlos Dearmas' unique and beautifully drawn work over the past few years come out of Columbia and in Argentina. His artistic voice hit me loudly and I can't get enough of it, so please excuse me while I take a moment to wax poetic about his work.

I've loved seeing his highly detailed takes on comic characters that many have shared on CAF. I've also deeply enjoyed seeing the introspection and emotion in his personal work, as well as, his work in anthologies and various literary and graphic novel covers. I'm excited to share one of my favorite recent pieces from Dearmas.

This is Dearmas' cover artwork for Gorgona Anthology 3 double page spread, which was published by Go Up Comics in 2024. This art was done for pages 2 and 3 from his 4 page story walking through mysteries of ancient visions. This spread focuses on love.
