DescriptionAl McWilliams Twin Earths Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-10-54 (United Feature Syndicate, 1954). One of Al McWilliams' most stylish comic strips, and that's saying a lot! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.5" x 15.25", the logo is a printed paste-up that has slightly discolored. The board has been scored and folded between tiers to allow mailing to and from the syndicate. Light toning and marginal notes, and paste-up and whiteout text corrections. Standout exuisite inking! It's old school craftsmanship that becomes apparent when attention is focused on the exotic space creatures, rocketships, and the spacegirl close up.
