That is a very nice production background. I really think background artists are the most underappreciated talents in the world of animation.
Great view of Neo-Tokyo! It's got a field of depth and shadows for an eerie effect as the city should be teeming with people.
It amazes me how Akira is still the high point in anime even though it is almost 40 years old. Great background image.
