Description

In 2005, there was an art book titled "The Art of Michael J. Zeck Volume 1." Only 25 very rare copies were supposed to include new art by Mike (I think he only actually got through 11), and the third in the series was this Captain America. This is the preliminary sketch to the original art that went on the inside cover. As you can see, Mike's "prelims" are tighter than most artists final pencils. I have been after this piece for a few years and grateful the previous owner and I could make a deal happen recently.

Zeck's prelims are on the level of some finished/final art of today, really nice and clean, great image of Cap!
