Terrific splash! I see "1990" in the left margin. I wonder why DC didn't publish this handsomely designed reboot of the character 35 years ago. As for Cryll, could he be the fearsome looking alien Space Ranger is in front of?

No. His adventures took place in the 22nd century and he had no super powers. He was just one of DC Sci-Fi heroes like Adam Strange, Tommy Tomorrow, Space Cabbie etc.
