Description

Barry Smith was doing beautiful work throughout his career and the 1990's were no exception. I must admit that this was a frustration buy as everything I really wanted went so high I pulled the trigger on this because it was cool and reasonable. Great for us collectors with deep galleries as our pieces have again gone up in value. On the inverse, bad for us collectors who are just fan-boys at heart and have priced ourselves out of our own hobby and are forced (ok that is extreme) to buy what we like and think will go up in value as opposed to just buying what we love. Barry Windsor-Smith and Alex Bialy WildStorm Rising #1 Story Page 20 Original Art (Image, 1995). An embiggened Void reveals an artifact from her foreboding vision of the future to her fellow WildC.A.T.s, which a battle-weary Zealot instantly recognizes as a mysterious Daemonite key. With even their renegade member Grifter out of ammo and ready to call it quits, the Covert Action Team begins to formulate a plan to retreat. Rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board, this key page from the first WildStorm crossover features a margin-busting image area of 11" x 17". It includes whiteout corrections, marginal notes, and minor handling wear, and is in Excellent condition.
